The TV series "Debts of Conscience" tells the story of Tanya, a kind and positive girl. She works as a seller in the market but doesn't complain about her life and is quite content with her simple and uncomplicated fate. Soon, Tanya falls in love with the charming Gena, who comes from a good family. However, his parents disapprove of his relationship with a simple trader. When Tanya confesses to her beloved that she is pregnant with his child, he asks her to have an abortion. Devastated, she falls and hits her head. Her relatives lie to Gena, telling him that she has died.
