The multi-part project is based on the eponymous series of works. The story revolves around a man who is unexpectedly discovered thirteen years after his mysterious disappearance. At the same time, his sister has also vanished without a trace. A talented detective goes undercover in a hospital where a serial killer, accused of the crime, is being held. The detective is determined to find any leads on the girl who went missing many years ago, by any means necessary.
