The TV series "Friend for an Hour" is a Russian comedy about human relationships. The story revolves around Nikolai Sergeyevich Mayakin, a former successful pediatrician who is now just an ordinary lonely pensioner. The dull and monotonous life within four walls depresses him so much that he almost decides to join his wife in the afterlife. But everything changes with a chance encounter between Nikolai Sergeyevich and a young and energetic guy named Leha. He suggests they start an unusual business together - providing services as a friend for an hour.
