Project Greenlight (2001 - 2015)

"Project Greenlight" is an American reality show about the making of a film by an aspiring director. Well-known screenwriters, actors, producers, and other people involved in the film industry try their hand at directing for the first time in their lives. They must choose the best script from hundreds of submissions, hold auditions for the lead roles, and organize the entire filming process from start to finish. The contestants have a limited amount of time to complete all of this, and the result of their work must impress even seasoned directors.
