The TV series "Montecristo" is a Spanish dramatic thriller based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas. The events unfold in a modern metropolis, where a mysterious technology corporation, owned by Alejandro Montecristo, suddenly rises above the rest. Nobody knows anything about his past. The native Spanish aristocrats, unable to tolerate such competition, try to buy out his company. However, they do not realize that behind the facade of the brilliant Alejandro is a long-lost friend who has returned for revenge.
