"Detectives on the Case" is a Russian animated series about a charming but slightly eccentric duo of detectives. The events unfold in the provincial town of Berdichev, where a highly endangered striped elephant named Baldakhin goes missing from the zoo. Suspicion falls on the former owner of the animal, an international criminal named Karbofos, from whom the elephant once escaped, preferring the cruel treatment of a cage in the zoo. Detectives Chef and Colleague take on the case.
