The events of the series "Impostors" unfold in modern Moscow, where the famous and acclaimed writer Alexey Govorov lives. The man is already quite old and is looking for a "successor" for himself. He finds a talented but weak-willed young man named Mitya Panin. Instead of working on the continuation of Govorov's legendary series "Impostors," he wastes his time on literary trivia.
