The recent war has drastically changed the world: the lands are now overgrown with dense forests, and the majority of people are infected with a certain pathogen. The infection that has affected the human race is such that anyone who comes into contact with fire instantly burns alive. But people cannot survive without warmth. The only way for the infected to obtain heat is through black animals, known as the Spirits of Fire, that live in the forest. People have to hunt them in order to save their own lives...
