Maugli (1967 - 1971)

"Mowgli" is a Soviet animated series about the fate of a little boy who finds himself in the jungle surrounded by wild animals. The she-wolf Raksha takes the human cub into her pack and does not allow other predators to kill him. Mowgli grows up with her cubs and becomes a nimble, strong, and fearless man - a human with the courage of a wild beast. He befriends a bear, a panther, and a python, and helps the forest inhabitants overcome a drought. But Mowgli also has an enemy - the cruel and vengeful tiger Shere Khan.
