The action of the Soviet mini-series "Shadows Disappear at Noon" takes place in a small village called Zeleny Dol, located in the middle of a remote taiga. However, the events that unfold there become a reflection of the fate of the entire Soviet state. The White gangs of Kolchak are defeated, collective farms are being built in the USSR, and the first elections to the Supreme Soviet are held. Then life changes with the onset of the Great Patriotic War. Women on the home front perform heroic deeds, thus bringing closer the great Victory Day.
