The protagonist of the series "Lodi" is an ordinary car salesman from a small town named Lou. In 1977, due to circumstances, he becomes an informant for the FBI. The head of organized crime wants to acquire his business for money laundering. Agents of American intelligence agencies then contact the protagonist and force him to accept the offer and infiltrate the mafia. Soon, he finds himself involved in the internal affairs of the criminal family and becomes known as the local "godfather's" adopted son. But his duty is to betray the gang to the FBI.
