Over the years, Leonid Parfenov's 43 films showcase the most significant historical and socio-cultural events and phenomena, as well as tell the stories of individuals who have had a great influence on the thinking of modern people. This is something that is hard to imagine without, and even harder to understand. In each episode, Parfenov presents unique and rare archival footage, accompanied by his own commentary. He reveals details of well-known political events and analyzes them from the perspective of hindsight.
