"The Boroughs" is a sci-fi thriller series about the invasion of otherworldly forces in a small town. The events take place in the desolate wilderness of New Mexico, where a secluded and little-known settlement is located far away from civilization. The younger generation has long fled to the metropolises, leaving behind mainly retirees who have nowhere else to rush to. However, they have to come together and stand against a mysterious darkness that begins to steal their only remaining treasure - time.
