Bolshaya peremena (1973 - 1973)

The story revolves around Nestor Petrovich Severov, a student who is preparing to defend his doctoral dissertation in Russian history. The hero is deeply offended when he learns that his girlfriend easily surpassed him in the entrance exams. Nestor takes a job at an evening school after losing his place in graduate school to someone else. Soon, he realizes that teaching adults is not easy, especially when they have no desire to learn.
