"The New Frontier" is a documentary series about modern space technologies and their use for the benefit of humanity. While our attention is focused on earthly matters, progress in the space industry never stops, with increasing investments being made worldwide. Recently, the first privately-owned, rather than government-operated, shuttle was sent to the International Space Station. What impact will it have on the global economy? Will tourist ships fly to Mars, and will thousands of new jobs be created in space?
