Pelagiya i belyy buldog (2009 - 2009)

The TV series "Pelagia and the White Bulldog" is a detective story based on the best-selling novel by Russian writer Boris Akunin. The main character of the story is Pelagia, a nun from a remote monastery in the Russian province. Despite her chosen path as a bride of God, she possesses a truly miraculous intuition and unique logic that any man would envy. When a pious and kind man named Pavel Aristarkhovich is found hanged in a town near the monastery, Pelagia's abilities find their application.
