Lykkeland (2018 - …)

"Lykkeland" is a Norwegian drama series based on real events. In 1969, the life of a small coastal town is turned upside down. For years, almost all the residents of Stavanger have made a living from fishing, but the fish stocks in the North Sea are gradually depleting and the demand for fish is decreasing. A solution comes unexpectedly. Phillips Petroleum company signs a contract to drill a well... and discovers the largest oil field in the history of the town.
