The central character is a young man named Nick. He works as a nurse in a hospital, and everyone around him believes that he is a natural medical professional. Nick possesses a rare combination of common sense and excellent intuition, and he instantly connects with patients. But one day, he hears a musical composition that gets stuck in his head and awakens horrifying memories. Nick cannot rid himself of these thoughts, and they begin to destroy his life.
