"House with a Surprise" is a Russian melodramatic series about the eternal confrontation between a daughter-in-law and a mother-in-law. Lena Malinina is a young and beautiful girl whose life is not going well. She languishes in a provincial construction brigade, plastering walls and painting ceilings. Everything changes when a real prince appears in her path - the gallant and caring Valera. And everything would be fine if it weren't for this guy's mother. The future mother-in-law cannot stand the "unsuitable" girl and tries to separate her from her son.
