Bednye lyudi (2016 - 2016)

"Bednye lyudi" is a Russian comedy series about an unsuccessful writer. Veniamin dreams of shaping the fate of contemporary literature, which is why he moves from his native countryside to the vast city of St. Petersburg. However, instead of securing a contract with a reputable publishing house and imminent fame, he ends up with a rather dubious but profitable side job. He becomes the "literary ghostwriter" for superstar Olga Buzova, tasked with writing her autobiography. But this "dusty" job promises him numerous unexpected adventures.
