The central characters are the son of intellectuals from the city and the daughter of provincials, who have decided to get married. The parents of the young couple are thrilled. While they prepare for the wedding celebration and renovate the apartment, the future relatives go together to the countryside to "get to know each other better." But it turns out that living under one roof is not as fun as it may have seemed. Every day, the in-laws argue "for no reason," and just as soon as one conflict is resolved, they immediately encounter new problems.
