World on Fire (2019 - …)

The TV series "World on Fire" is a British historical drama that depicts the events of World War II through the eyes of ordinary people. The story takes place in September 1939, when German troops cross the borders of Poland and seize the country. Nancy, a war correspondent from the United States, is sent to the scene and observes the development of the armed conflict from different sides of the barricades. She witnesses a thousand German tanks moving towards France, while Europe bends under the pressure of fascism.
