The traces of the stolen billions lead the investigation to the now disgraced oligarch Chudinovsky. The plan of capture was devised and implemented by the security forces - Colonel Vihrov and Major Altynov. They also wanted to involve FSB officer Vyacheslav Kornyshev in the case, but he decided not to betray and went on the run. Soon, times changed. Kornyshev returned to service and began searching for the stolen money. From the very beginning, the investigation faces unexpected difficulties - two FSB officers die under mysterious circumstances.
