"El Barco" is a Spanish science fiction series about the consequences of a cataclysm that submerged the Earth in the depths of the ocean. The plot revolves around a group of students who, along with their mentors, embark on a research expedition into the open sea. However, after a powerful storm that was not predicted by meteorologists, their ship, Estrella Polar, loses all communication with land.
