The story takes place in Korea during the Choson dynasty. The protagonist is a doctor who practices traditional medicine. Despite his hard work and skills, he struggles to achieve success in his profession due to his low social status. One day, he travels through time and finds himself in modern-day Seoul, where he meets a female doctor. She believes solely in the effectiveness of modern methods.
