Erufen rîto (2004 - 2004)

"Erufen rîto" is an anime series about a genetically modified girl who escapes from a laboratory. Lucy, also known as a diclonius, is the result of a dangerous experiment. When she realizes that her life is completely controlled by ruthless scientists, she stages a breakout, killing anyone who stands in her way. Now, a bloodthirsty mercenary named Bando is on her trail. In the struggle against him, the girl is shot in the head and loses her memory. She is saved by two kind-hearted students and is named Nyu, after New York University.
