Transplant (2020 - …)

The series "Transplant" tells the story of a doctor who worked in emergency medicine and fled to Canada from his native Syria. Bashir Hamid lives in a refugee camp, waiting to be assigned a job in his new country. However, his skills, education, and experience are deemed invalid here. Bashir has to make ends meet by taking on odd jobs as a laborer and janitor, until an emergency situation in the camp forces him to save someone's life. After this, he is allowed to join the staff of York Memorial Hospital.
