Anno 1790 (2011 - 2011)

The series "Anno 1790" is a Swedish historical drama set in late 18th century Stockholm. Johan Dååd, an experienced military doctor, returns to his hometown from the Russo-Swedish war front. He plans to spend a few months on leave and then return to service, but his fate takes a turn when he becomes involved in the investigation of a murder. When the commissioner of one of the city districts dies under mysterious circumstances, all external signs point to a heart attack. However, Johan notices evidence that confirms a violent death.
