1943 (2013 - 2013)

The events of the Russian historical-drama series "1943" unfold after the defeat of the German troops at Stalingrad. The enemy is preparing for a rematch and amassing forces at the city walls. A Soviet reconnaissance group infiltrates the territory occupied by the fascists, tasked with obtaining the counterattack plan. However, almost all of the paratroopers perish. By a miracle, only the young radio operator Ekaterina manages to escape, hiding with a couple of Stalingrad underground fighters who pose as husband and wife.
