1942 (2009 - 2011)

The series "1942" is a historical drama about the Great Patriotic War. The events take place in a German-occupied settlement in early spring 1942. Grigory's partisan detachment struggles through the cold. Besides the leader, it consists of Muha, several Red Army soldiers, and men from the nearby village. The partisans welcome Alena, a lonely woman who has lost everything, into their ranks. Her ex-husband left her for another woman, and the man she passionately loved turned out to be a traitor and defected to the enemy.
