Penoza (2010 - 2017)

The series "Penoza" is a Dutch crime drama thriller about the widow of a criminal authority who decides to take matters into her own hands. Carmen manages the household and raises her children, trying to turn a blind eye to her husband Frans' dangerous business. She only starts to worry seriously when her eldest son finds a loaded gun in his father's car. But it turns out to be too late: soon Frans gets caught in a deadly shootout, and Carmen discovers that he was dealing drugs right under her nose.
