"Big Brother" is an American television program based on the Dutch reality show of the same name. The program first aired in July 2000 and became popular due to its unique concept of strangers living together in a specially constructed house. The participants live in a closed space without access to the outside world and are constantly under camera surveillance. In front of a multimillion audience, they make friends, fall in love, and make enemies. Every week, the housemates vote for who should leave the project. The CBS show gained international fame and spawned numerous spin-offs and remakes in different languages.
