Azazel (2002 - 2002)

The TV series "Azazel" is an adaptation of Boris Akunin's first novel from the famous series about the adventures of Erast Fandorin. The story revolves around a low-ranking government official who works as a scribe in the Detective Department and secretly dreams of becoming an investigator himself one day. One day, he becomes an accidental witness to the death of a poor student. The police quickly rule it as a suicide and close the case, but Fandorin continues his own investigation and uncovers a conspiracy by a global government.
