"Rodnye lyudi" offers viewers several vignettes in different genres. Each of the novellas is connected by a common theme: it will be about people who were vibrant representatives of the youth in the 1990s. Once they were close friends - their student life brought them together. But time and circumstances played their role: after graduating from college, the guys and girls went their separate ways. Despite the distance, the comrades did not lose their warm feelings for each other and still communicate. A long-awaited reunion of classmates is on the horizon, prompted by the anniversary of one of their professors. The heroes gather together, but before that, they have many adventures awaiting them.
