Special forces fighter Alexander Volkov, who has seen the horrors of war, decides to leave military service for the sake of his beloved wife Alena and serving God. After completing seminary, Volkov is ordained as a priest. But his new bright path is overshadowed by the tragic death of Alena, after which only the Orthodox faith helps Volkov to live.
Having received a church parish in his hometown of Starovolsk, Father Alexander becomes a reliable support for parishioners not only from a spiritual point of view.
