Konstantin Inozemtsev is a ladies' man and once-popular writer, the author of one of the main bestsellers of the 2000s. Despite the lack of a stable income, he continues to live "like a millionaire," covering old debts with new ones. Life presents him with an opportunity to revive his career - Konstantin is offered the position of editor-in-chief and the chance to relaunch a glossy magazine that was previously published under a foreign franchise. It takes some time, but Konstantin accepts the offer and enters an unfamiliar world of fading glamour, endless editorial meetings, and encounters with advertisers.
