Nadya is the best pastry chef in town and the owner of a café, for the opening of which she had to take out a loan, using her small apartment as collateral, where she lives with her husband. Her friend Zoya is a co-owner of the café and is responsible for promotion, dreaming of making their business more successful. And there is a good chance of that happening - influential entrepreneur Kartashov chooses Nadya's establishment to celebrate his daughter's fifth birthday, and the best people in town are invited to the banquet. However, the evening turns into an absolute disaster - the birthday girl has an allergic reaction. Kartashov is furious and determined to punish Nadya. But the misfortunes don't end there - her sister dies in a car accident, leaving behind an orphaned niece, and her husband cheats on her with her best friend...
