What happens when a person completely unsuited for the role is elected as a deputy to the State Duma of the Russian Federation? That's exactly what happens in the series "Izbrannyj" (The Chosen One), where a modest engineer from the provincial town of Glebov, Oleg Tyapin, is sent to the new convocation of the Duma.
