Posledniy bronepoezd (2006 - 2006)

The Russian mini-series "Poslednij bronepoezd" is partly based on real events that took place in August 1941. One of the strategic objects, a particularly important bridge for the connections of the Red Army, is captured by fascist forces. The area is completely sealed off, and there is no possibility of retaking it without significant losses. The Soviet command decides to bring a powerful armored train to the destination, about which there has been no information in the radio broadcast, so the enemy should not be aware of it. However, a German saboteur, disguised as a Soviet lieutenant, hinders the departure, greatly impeding the operation. But the enemy spy did not take into account all the intricacies of the mission, as a result of which he overlooked several privates, a train engineer, and a nurse who took cover in a wagon during the battle. One of the soldiers, a demoted former Major General Romanov, takes command of the improvised squad into his own hands. Now, the goal of the survivors is to bring the armored train to its destination at all costs.
