Major Anastasia Nesterova, head of the police department for her own security, earned the nickname "Ovcharka" for her dedication to the job and her unwavering determination. A series of dramatic events leads her boss, Oleg Rebrov, with whom Anastasia has a personal history, to send her on a business trip to a remote Russian town. In this provincial town, Anastasia finds herself caught in a complex game and becomes the target of a secret criminal group. As if that wasn't enough, she also has to deal with a new daring partner, Vorobiev, a new boss, Ershov, and a newfound untimely affection for a certain man.
