Thirty years ago there was a robbery at an art gallery in Boston. One of the stolen paintings surfaces in Russia. It costs a lot of money, and now on the trail of the painting are a modest bus driver from the provinces, an intelligent Moscow tour guide, the daughter of an underground casino owner, a card sharper from Monaco, three young artists, a ruthless killer and a federal agent from the United States.
