"Barry" is the story of a former Marine named Barry Berkman who returns to his hometown in the Midwest, gets involved in the criminal world, and becomes a hitman. Despite his success, he feels lonely and lost, unsure of where to go next. After his partner, Fuchs, who found him the job, gives him another assignment, Barry decides to leave the business. Fuchs then sends him to Los Angeles to take a break and, at the same time, do some work.
