"Former" is a Russian TV series that tells the dramatic story of a doctor and his patient. Ilya is a psychologist and consultant who helps people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Yana comes from a wealthy family belonging to the elite, but money doesn't bring her happiness. On the contrary, problems with her parents, a lack of true friends, and a lack of love push the girl towards self-destruction. She can no longer find her way back on her own.
