Defiance (2013 - 2015)

In the science fiction series "Defiance," the events take place in the future, where humans and aliens try to coexist. Their habitat is a planet ravaged by years of battles and terraformed with technologies developed by the aliens. In the city of Defiance, a mysterious man named Nolan arrives with his daughter Irisa. They have fled from savage Iranian clans. The travelers are taken under the care of the city's mayor, Amanda, who appoints Nolan as the sheriff.
