Dune (2000 - 2000)

The events take place in the distant future, when the fate of the galactic empire is closely tied to a mysterious substance called "spice." It can only be found on the planet Arrakis, also known as Dune. Emperor Corrino has claimed the planet, taking it away from the ruthless Harkonnen family, and appointed the more peaceful Atreides family to govern it. This has sparked a further escalation in the long-standing conflict between these houses.
