Waiting for the Sun (2013 - 2014)

This is the story of two women who live in the small provincial town of Gelibolu, which resembles more of a village. Demet and her daughter Zeynep have their own small shop, which barely brings in any profit compared to the money invested in it. This existence on the brink of poverty is suddenly interrupted. An old friend of Demet makes her an offer. She works as an educator at a university in Istanbul. Jale suggests that Demet and Zeynep also try their luck in the big city.
