"The Mounted Police" is a series about a corrupt operative who finds himself in prison due to his belief in his own impunity. The authorities want to teach the arrogant Volkov a lesson by sending him to the "exile" of working in the mounted police. Initially, he doesn't take this service seriously, but once in the saddle, he begins to see it differently. The selflessness and kindness of his new colleagues help Sergei find true love and come to terms with his haunting past.
