The Russian melodramatic series "Contract for Happiness" revolves around a young woman named Anna Anisimova. In order to help her husband overcome financial problems, she decides to become a surrogate mother. Anna moves into the home of the famous Moscow architect Andrei Rogozhin and his wife Julia. Julia has long been in love with the renowned capital photographer Igor Zverev. One day, Igor attacks Andrei, attempting to kill him. Anna wants to help Andrei, and a spark of feelings ignites between them.
