Life on Mars (2006 - 2007)

"Life on Mars" is a British science fiction series that has won multiple BAFTA awards. The story revolves around a police inspector who finds himself in the past after a horrific car accident. Waking up in the 1970s, the protagonist believes he is going insane. However, circumstances force him to take action. Influenced by fate, he resumes his work in the police force, this time under the guidance of Manchester's top detective. The show stars John Simm in the lead role.
