Pimp My Ride (2004 - 2007)

Each episode begins with a demonstration of a car, usually in a sorry state but still capable of moving. The owner of the car presents it. Typically, it is a young man or woman from a low-income family who dreams of pursuing a prestigious and well-paying profession. Based on the owner's taste in vehicles, the car undergoes an expensive but sometimes impractical "upgrade." Xzibit is the host of the American project.
